Acclaimed poet John Barton is the author of 11 books of poetry and six chapbooks, and has edited The Malahat Review since 2004. Previously he spent 13 years as co-editor of Arc Poetry Magazine and two years as the editor in chief of Vernissage: the Magazine of National Gallery of Canada. Since 1980 his poems have appeared in 75 magazines and 50 anthologies in North America, the United Kingdom, China, India, and Australia.
